Ariadne Labs Develops Workbook for Caregivers and People with Serious Illness

Nov 24, 2021

Developed by Ariadne Labs in collaboration with The Conversation Project, the “What Matters to Me Workbook” is designed to help people with a serious illness get ready to talk to their health care team about what is most important to them.

As the resource explains, the Workbook is not about making specific medical
decisions, but rather “thinking about what matters most to you — and sharing your goals and preferences with your health care team.”

Ariadne Labs itself is a health systems improvement collaboration between Brigham & Women’s Hospital and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

The workbook is a helpful tool for caregivers and people living with serious illness to have conversations about care preferences and can help talk about many other needs that may not otherwise be addressed.
