Bring CarFit Events to Your Community by Becoming a Trainer

CarFit is a joint initiative of AAA, AARP, and the American Occupational Therapy Association to promote older driver safety and mobility by assisting drivers in understanding how they fit in their vehicles and making adjustments to improve comfort and safety.

During CarFit events, drivers have a 20-30 minute session with a trained technician and an occupational therapy practitioner. Upcoming trainings can help communities working to become age-friendly to host their own CarFit events. Continue reading

Commonwealth Releases Nation-Leading Three-Year Progress Report on Statewide Age-and Dementia Friendly Action Plan

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is pleased to release the third annual progress report for ReiMAgine Aging, the Age-Friendly Massachusetts Action Plan, which serves as the state’s multi-year plan to make the Commonwealth more age- and dementia-friendly.
