Age-Friendly Funding Alert: Local Cultural Council Program

In FY22, Mass Cultural Council will invest $4.8 million into the Local Cultural Council (LCC) Program, the nation’s largest grassroots cultural funding network. This represents a great opportunity for age- and dementia friendly communities to connect older adults to arts and cultural sites and events. It also carries opportunity for promoting intergenerational activity.

Berkshire Transportation Program for Older Adults Recognized as Best Practice by NADTC

The the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC), a partnership of Easterseals, USAging and the Department of Transportation‘s Federal Transportation Administration, released a “Best Practices Compendium,” which is a compilation of the lessons learned by the 16 grant programs funded by NADTC from 2017 through 2019.

RAISE Family Caregiving Advisory Council Delivers Report to Congress

The Recognize, Assist, Include, Support, & Engage (RAISE) Family Caregiving Advisory Council delivered its initial report to Congress.
