AARP Livable Communities Team recently hosted a virtual workshop titled, “Designing for People of All Ages” and released a recap summary with age-friendly design examples and resources that may be useful and informative to communities working to become more age- and dementia friendly.
The videos for each session are available here from the event that took place in October and convened 1,450 local leaders, design practitioners, community members, and AARP staff and volunteers.
One of the presenters, Marija Zimmerman, shared U.S. Department of Transportation resources available at federal, state and local levels to make communities more livable.
