Time is running out to apply for Round 2 of the Massachusetts Broadband Institute‘s (MBI) Connected & Online Program. The program is a $28.5-million initiative that aims to expand access to education, workforce training and telehealth by providing over 32,000 internet-enabled devices to eligible organizations across Massachusetts.

These devices will support expanded access to education, workforce training and telehealth by establishing public device lending programs and on-site device stations. Increased access to devices will enable residents to pursue additional career readiness opportunities such as the new, free online AI training through the Massachusetts AI Hub and Google’s partnership.

Those requesting devices must use them to increase access by establishing public device lending programs and on-site device stations. At no cost to awardees, devices will be fully loaded with software, selected accessories, and warranties.
