Thanks to a group of national philanthropies, a $50 million effort to help cities navigate new federal infrastructure funding opportunities is being hosted by the National League of Cities (NLC), which is intended to connect cities and towns with the resources and expert advice they need to access federal infrastructure funding.
The program – called the Local Infrastructure Hub – includes a searchable database of current federal funding opportunities, a calendar of virtual learning opportunities to empower communities to apply for funding, and a resource library.
The Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative encourages communities working to become more age- and dementia friendly to explore the website and consider the resources available to help communities access federal funding.
