Periodically, the Mass. Healthy Aging Collaborative shares funding opportunities that help communities become more age- and dementia friendly.

Thanks once again to our partners at MassMobility for highlighting the following grant programs:

• Equity and Accessibility: Transportation Planning Grant Program – planning grants of up to $20,000 from the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center to include older adults and people with disabilities in developing a transportation action plan with a focus on diversity or reducing social isolation. Learn more on a July 27 webinar. Letters of intent due August 6 and full applications due August 27.
• Accelerating Clean Technology for All – funding from MassCEC for pilots of equity-focused transportation programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. To support community-based organizations in applying, MassCEC is offering Zoom office hours, a collaboration Slack, and planning grants. Apply by September 7.
