Baker Administration’s Age-Friendly Efforts Published in AARP International Journal

Feb 13, 2019

From his State of the Commonwealth address two years ago that recognized how Massachusetts needs to think differently about how older adults are engaged and supported, Governor Charlie Baker and his administration have proven to be leaders in promoting and supporting healthy aging.

Fresh from the recent release of the Age-Friendly Massachusetts Action plan, the Governor was also featured in the AARP International Journal as a “Leader in Longevity” for a list of accomplishments guided by the Governor’s Council to Address Aging and the Executive Office of Elder Affairs.

The Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative was mentioned alongside the Tufts Health Plan Foundation, AARP Massachusetts, among others and many other partners in this work to help create a “stateĀ road map for a future that supports all our residents, both now and as they grow older and continue to thrive.”
