Bridges Together Announces Call for Fran Pratt Award Nominees

Aug 14, 2018

Bridges Together is announcing the opening of a call for entries for the 2018 Fran Pratt Award. This award is dedicated to individuals who are creating and maintaining opportunities for our older adults and young people to engage with each other in meaningful ways and foster a culture of age-integration.

Fran Pratt was a true pioneer who wrote one of the first manuals on aging education for children. He then went on to form the Massachusetts Intergenerational Network, which was one of the first networking communities within the US for those involved in intergenerational work.

This award is dedicated to individuals who are creating and maintaining opportunities for our older adults and young people to engage with each other in meaningful ways and foster a culture of age-integration.

To enter, please submit here by September 14. Winners will be announced at the 2018 Intergenerational Symposium at Lasell College in Newton, MA.

Also, in preparation for Intergenerational (IG) Month in September, Bridges Together invites all to view their library of How-To Guide tools that are full of IG activities. Download one today!
