The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) is proposing revisions to the Accessory Dwelling Unit Regulations – 760 CMR 71.00: Protected Use Accessory Dwelling Units.

The public comment period will open, and the ADU Public Comment Form will remain open through 11:59 p.m. on October 9. Written comments may also be submitted from September 11, 2026, through 11:59 p.m. on October 9, 2026, by sending comments to EOHLCRegulationComments@mass.gov, including “Comments on 760 CMR 71” in the subject line.
