Events in Healthy Aging – Reminders: Tech Learning Collaborative for Healthy Aging, Livable Wednesdays, LGBTQ+ Elders Conference

The Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative encourages stakeholders and communities in the age- and dementia friendly community movement to check out the following events and opportunities:

Join the Technology Learning Collaborative for Healthy Aging, co-hosted by the Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative and the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, on May 1st from 12:30-2:00 pm to learn and share updates on best practices as well as funding and partnership opportunities regarding digital equity and older adults. Presentations on 5/1 will include Mystic Valley Elder Services, Chelsea Council on Aging and Action for Boston Community Development.

There will also be updates from Mass. Broadband Institute, MHAC and a funding opportunity from the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. If your organization or community have relevant updates to share with attendees at the meeting, please contact James Fuccione at MHAC (

Learn the various ways volunteers, organizations, and municipalities across Massachusetts are paying increased attention to the environmental, economic and social factors that influence the health and well-being of people as they age.

A virtual one-day conference focusing on interdisciplinary practice and community engagement
for people working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning + older adults and
caregivers. LGBTQ+ people interested in their individual aging or caregiving needs are also invited to attend.
