‘Hybrid Engagement Hub’ Promotes Tools for Running Remote and In-Person Meetings

Jan 18, 2022

As age-and dementia friendly communities, municipal partners and other stakeholders continue to engage the public to accommodate those attending in-person and remote, the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) developed the “Hybrid Engagement Hub” with tools to help make those meetings successful.

In the summer of 2021, MAPC launched an initiative focused on identifying the needs of municipalities and their staff around hybrid engagement during the second year of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this process, three municipal teams from Randolph, Framingham, and Dedham, alongside the community engagement staff at MAPC, convened hundreds of people across the region and the nation to develop shared practices and tools for hosting meetings that bridge remote and in-person participation.

We encourage age-and dementia friendly stakeholders to view this useful set of resources here.
