MAPC’s Technical Assistance Program is Available for Age- and Dementia Friendly Community Initiatives in Greater Boston

Dec 7, 2022

The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) is accepting project concepts from the Greater Boston area municipalities for the 2023 Technical Assistance Program (TAP) grants. This is an opportunity for you to work with MAPC on local programs and planning initiatives.

Age and Dementia Friendly Communities may apply by Monday, January 16, 2023 for your project to be considered when the greatest amount of money is available. Additionally, projects that advance MetroCommon2050, Housing Choice initiatives, and serve multiple communities will be prioritized for the awarding of funding. Because municipal best practices included in the state’s Community Compact program are eligible, and age- and dementia friendly initiatives are included in the Community Compact Program, the Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative encourages applications from its community stakeholders.

Are you a new applicant this year? Join MAPC (or any interested municipality) for their informational webinar, TODAY, December 7 at 12 p.m.! Learn more and register here
