The Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI) announced the new Launchpad Program, a $9.44 million grant program to support digital equity activities across Massachusetts. The program, funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, supports the expansion of digital literacy, digital navigation, device distribution and refurbishment, public space internet modernization, Wi-Fi access and more. The full list of eligible activities can be found within the program solicitation.
Community-based organizations, municipalities and other eligible entities may apply to the program to receive grant funding.
Interested applicants will develop a concept paper and submit it by Friday, April 25 at 5:00 p.m. Selected respondents will then be invited to submit a full application by Wednesday, July 16.
