MetroBridge Program at Boston University is Available to Support Local Initiatives

Nov 5, 2024

The MetroBridge program at BU’s Initiative on Cities is currently seeking municipal and community project partners for the spring 2025 semester.

MetroBridge works to embed your city, town, NGO, or community organization’s research needs into semester-long courses at BU, providing students with experiential learning opportunities through real-world group projects that support communities. In the past, MetroBridge at BU has supported councils on aging, age-friendly community assessments, and has also supported projects with the Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative.

Submitting a research need/project proposal as soon as possible increases the likelihood of a course match.

BU strongly encourages submissions prior to mid-November whenever possible.

BU also strongly recommends either submitting a proposal or contacting Program Manager David Gross to schedule a meeting even if your ideas are preliminary or not yet developed.
