The Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative was honored to host Dr. Alexandre Kalache for a special presentation drawing on his decades of work in supporting inclusive age-friendly environments.

Dr. Kalache has served as President of the International Longevity Centre-Brazil since 2012 and co-President of the Global Alliance of International Longevity Centres since 2015. Formerly, he directed the World Health Organization global aging program at its Geneva headquarters and has served as an advisor to HELP AGE International and the New York Academy of Medicine.

The webinar, which was supported by Point32Health Foundation, was recorded and is available to MHAC stakeholders.

The event also featured a panel moderated by Robin Lipson, Deputy Secretary for the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, and included Samantha Hamilton from the Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts, Sara Arman from GreenRoots and Eric Hove from the Metropolitan Area Planning Council.
