Dementia Friends is a global public awareness program that helps everyone in a community learn about dementia, how it affects people, and the simple things that we can all do to make a difference.

Attend an Information Session with an Indigenous perspective

February 4, 2025, from 2:00pm – 3:00pm on Zoom. Attend this specialized Dementia Friends information session with an indigenous perspective, led by Champion Reverend Dr. Sandy Range. Dr. Range is a retired psychotherapist with 40+ years of experience. She is a Tsalagi Medicine Elder and Initiated Q’ero Shaman, and Ancestral Lineage Healing practitioner, a Reiki Master, Meditation Teacher, and Therapeutic Life and Wellness Coach. She founded the Grandmothers’ Village Project for housing elders of color. Register here.

Become a Dementia Friends Champion and learn about how to lead an information session for your community at a free, 3-hour volunteer training. Champion trainings are in English and upon account approval, you will receive access to all of our adapted and translated materials in 9 languages.
