This year, as Park Serve Day celebrates its 20th anniversary, DCR will have events taking place from April 25 to June 6 at properties across Massachusetts. A listing of events and registration forms are available on the DCR Park Serve Day webpage. Events are listed by date and DCR region where they will be taking place.
Starting with six parks in Western Mass in 2006, Park Serve Day 2007 went statewide with 52 parks and 1,330 volunteers cleaning beaches, picking up litter, painting buildings, planting flowers, cleaning trails, and more. Since then, Park Serve Day has had over 40,000 volunteers participate.
