Led by LifePath, an aging service access point, and with many partners like Franklin Regional Council of Governments, a new website has been launched for the Age- and Dementia Friendly Franklin County-North Quabbin initiative. The site provides a blog and map that display the progress being made on the regional and collaborative initiative supported by Point32Health Foundation, the Massachusetts Community Health & Healthy Aging Fund and others.

The site also includes the region’s action plan that covers 30 communities spread over 900 square miles. People age 65 and older make up 23 percent of that region’s population.

The map on the website is an interactive tool to help highlight the impact being made by the initiative that includes intergenerational activity, transportation programs, accessibility improvements and local planning projects.
