Between May 6, 2019, and July 28, 2019, drivers from Boston and Metro Boston will compete for chances to win prizes from a pool of more than $25,000 and different titles, including “Boston’s Safest Driver.”
Boston’s Safest Driver is a competition via a smartphone app hosted by the City of Boston and promoted by Age-Friendly Boston that provides you helpful feedback on your driving based upon five metrics:
- speed
- acceleration
- braking
- cornering, and
- phone distraction.

Grand prizes are also available for “Least Distracted” and “Slow & Steady” categories. The competition is open to all Metro Boston residents.
