Sep 15, 2021

According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 99% of Massachusetts residents age 65 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

The Boston Globe and others covered the milestone while the Baker Administration and many in the aging services network voiced their appreciation for the collective commitment to vaccinating older adults in Massachusetts.

“Thank you to all our health care workers and everyone who helped MA achieve this milestone,” tweeted the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
