In a previous post, the Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative (MHAC) promoted regional planning processes led by Metropolitan Planning Organizations that aim to gather input on local and regional transportation.

Those processes remain open and MHAC encourages age-and dementia friendly stakeholders and older adults to submit comments and get older adults to do the same. You can find your local MPO here.

In addition, the Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI) is continuing to promote a survey that will inform a statewide digital equity plan. MHAC serves on a workgroup led by MBI to ensure feedback from older adults is represented in this process and learned at a recent meeting that older adult participation is exceeding expectations. MHAC encourages its statewide network to keep reminding older adults in community to respond.

As part of the public engagement process for the Massachusetts Digital Equity Plan, MBI is hosting a series of seven listening sessions across the state. Those events, along with the survey and other opportunities for feedback, are available on the MBI Internet for All website.
