Lasell Village, University Featured by AARP for Creating Intergenerational Connections

November 9th, 2021

Lasell Village, a senior living community on the campus of 1,500 undergraduates and 500 graduate students in Newton, has been routinely recognized as a model of intergenerational activity. Once again, the community and its programming are being highlighted – this time by AARP in a recent blog post.

The blog post discusses the reason Lasell is different than many other university-senior living partnerships in that the residence for older adults is located on campus and to be a resident comes with a requirement to take 450 hours of classes a year. The learning requirement for residency can be waived for health reasons.

For more info, see the AARP blog post here.
