The city of Salem continues to advance its Salem for All Ages initiative with the release of their Year Two Report. The Age-Friendly leaders and various subcommittees on issues like “communication” and “housing” provide updates on the progress being made in all priority areas identified in their assessment and action plan.
Among the checked boxes for the initiative was a website (salemforallages.org) that posts news, updates and progress being made to help the city become more age-friendly.
The report is full of great examples, ideas and discussion that can help communities involved or interested in the age-friendly movement. For more information, view the Salem for All Ages Year 2 Report and visit the Salem for All Ages website.
