MassChallenge HealthTech Awards More Than $200K in Cash Prizes to Top Digital Health Startups

MassChallenge, a global network of zero-equity startup accelerators, recently awarded more than $200K in cash prizes to six elite digital health startups from the 2019 HealthTech accelerator.

Among the awardees was GoGoGrandparent, which was supported by MassChallenge accelerator competition “champions” the Executive Office of Elder Affairs based on the feedback and direction of the Governor’s Council to Address Aging.

Massachusetts Tech, Innovation, and Aging Service Leaders Launch Global Competition to Improve Healthy Aging and Social Isolation

A global innovation challenge for the improvement of well-being in aging populations was announced today by a group of industry, academic and government partners affiliated with Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker’s Council to Address Aging.

The In Good Company: The 2018 Optimal Aging Challenge seeks to develop breakthrough technologies, community resources and solutions that reduce social isolation and loneliness among older adults. Continue reading
