Apr 17, 2024

The Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative is pleased to promote the following events by partners in our network that support inclusive age- and dementia friendly communities:

Join the Massachusetts eHealth Institute virtually on Tuesday, 4/30 from 12 – 1PM for the Final Pitch Event for the Medicaid Challenge: Revolutionizing Home-Based Care. Hear from three innovative digital health companies with solutions to support community-dwelling older adults with behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia:

At this virtual event, the three finalists will compete for a chance to conduct a pilot of their solution with members of the Wellsense Senior Care Options (SCO) plan. The pilot opportunity is valued at $50,000 and will be supported by two of MeHI’s Digital Health Sandboxes: UMass Chan Medical School and UMass Lowell.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see the Challenge finalists present their innovative ideas and showcase their solutions in front of a panel of expert judges. The event will also feature a fireside chat with representatives from the Wellsense SCO plan.

This conference, presented by the Massachusetts Older Adult Behavioral Health Network (OABHN), will focus on cultivating leadership among attendees and encouraging those with firsthand experience of unmet needs in the field to use their voice for positive change. OABHN’s 2023 conference, “Healing in Community,” was attended by over 125 aging and behavioral health providers, older adults, and stakeholders.

Sponsoring the conference will provide visibility to your agency, the opportunity to interact with community-based providers, and help ensure OABHN is able to continue offering this annual conference.

Info and registration is available here.
