Oct 7, 2020

The Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative promotes funding opportunities as they become available that support communities and stakeholders in creating more inclusive age- and dementia friendly communities. Below are the latest round of these opportunities:

As MHAC previously reported, this program is available to municipal government leaders and may be used to install internet access equipment at affordable senior housing and other affordable housing sites.

This would help communities address the “digital divide” among older adults while also reducing social isolation and loneliness.

TheĀ Mass Cultural Council‘s Local Cultural Council (LCC) Program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation supporting thousands of community-based projects in the arts, humanities, and sciences annually. Each year, LCCs award more than $3 million in grants to more than 6,000 cultural programs statewide. The program promotes the availability of rich cultural experiences for every Massachusetts residents.

America Walks and generous Active People, Health Nations partners are excited to announce another round of their popular Community Change Grant program. This program will award grantees $1,500.00 in community stipends for projects related to creating healthy, active, and engaged places to live, work, and play.
