Registry of Motor Vehicles ‘Senior Days’ Expanding to More Sites During October

Oct 7, 2020

The Mass. Registry of Motor Vehicles has expanded the sites participating in the “Senior Days’ initiative to accommodate older adults who can visit local RMV locations to renew their licenses.

Also expanding is the partnership between the RMV and the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, the Mass. Healthy Aging Collaborative and the aging service access point network, which are sending staff and information to connect older adults with available services and resources. Security screeners asking a series of COVID-19-related questions are also asking older adults visiting the RMV is they need additional services or supports. Those answering ‘yes’ are referred to aging service access point staff (ASAP) following their appointment.
