MassDOT Blog Features MHAC, EOEA Partnerships on “Senior Days” Program at RMVs

Feb 17, 2021

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation’s blog (MassDOT) featured the cooperative work between the Mass. Healthy Aging Collaborative, Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA), and Aging Service Access Point (ASAP) network on the Registry of Motor Vehicles’ “Senior Days” Program.

In addition to the dedicated in-person Wednesday appointment opportunities at specific Registry locations for adults age 75 and older to conduct business, staff from the ASAP network have been on hand to speak with and connect people to support and services in their communities.

MHAC announced the partnership in a blog post back in September. Since then, according to EOEA, the program has engaged more than 1,700 older adults in one-on-one conversations about accessing resources and assistance during the pandemic.
