State and federal partners are leading the celebration of May as Older Americans Month.
Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll signed a proclamation that mentions age-friendly policies, age-friendly employers, and the age- and dementia friendly community movement.
Meanwhile, the Administration for Community Living (ACL) features a website with a theme for the month – Aging Unbound – that comes with a range of resources, including:
- Logos
- Posters
- Social media graphics
- Masthead
- Activity ideas
- Sample article and proclamation template
If any age- and dementia friendly communities are hosting events or programs in recognition of Older Americans Month, please contact the Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative so we can highlight your efforts!
