In addition to the events listed below, the Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative reminds stakeholders and communities working to become more age and dementia friendly that May is National Older Americans Month. In a previous post, MHAC shared materials being promoted by the Administration for Community Living (ACL) to help recognize the event.

  • LeadingAge Massachusetts – 2022 Annual Conference and Exhibition

Join LeadingAge Massachusetts for their annual conference on June 7th. Information and registration is available here. There are multiple sessions on inclusive design of buildings and public spaces and MHAC will be presenting on age- and dementia friendly environments.

  • MPHA Spring Awards Breakfast

The Massachusetts Public Health Association (MPHA) will hold its 20th Annual Spring Awards Breakfast to recognize five of the Commonwealth’s most accomplished public health champions!  Join us in honoring the awardees by sponsoring the event, placing an advertisement in the program or by purchasing a ticket.
